LFS: Tropical Fish & Pet Shop - SF Bay Area
This place is really small and cramp.. But they have rareties on occasion. They have lots of goldfish and other type of freshwater and saltwater fish. Not much in supplies. They also sell Birds (i think I heard some in the back room area). Owned by an elderly Asian couple. This is the only place that I know of that actually had Zebra and Stripped Loaches ($6.99ea) I was going to get some but then then I asked the owner what they ate and he said that they eat most anything including shrimp..
bahhh So I didn't get any... Anyways...Pros: mom/pop operation, on occasion rare stuff. prices are okay. Cons: Cramped. Some tanks could use some cleaning and better lighting. Tropical Fish & Pet Shop 1431 Tara Hills Dr Pinole, CA 94564-2518 Phone: (510) 724-4396 MAP Located in the Safeway supermarket Shopping Center on Appian Way in Pinole
