ugh, whats that ?


I have these little brown horseshoe things all over my plants(sorry no pics). Could it be algae, or maybe snail feces or eggs.

It started a day after i noticed snails. Had no fish yet. Plants it ws on were Marble Sword, compact sword, balansae, crypt weditii, hygro, anubais nana, and ludwiga gladulosa

Did you have a plec* or other 'algae eating fish' in the tank at the time? A picture would really help.

If you can tap the plant and they fall off, they are snail crap. Consider them a little present from the snails to you.
If they move around or are stuck to the plants, on the other hand, I have no idea.
