  Growing Plants out the top of my tank???
So my plan is to grow my plants in the two and a half feet between the water and the lights of my 220 gallon tank. I am planning to have the aquarium plants in the front "coming from the bottom of the tank". Then in the back I am going to be making troffs about three or four inches below the surface of the water, in which I will have bog plants and flowers. MY QUESTION IS, do these plants need to be misted? My plan is to put 1/8 inch black acrylic on three sides all the way up to the ceiling, then six inches of clear acrylic in the front so my hatchets can not jump out.
