55oz First Layer Pure Laterite. Then covered and partially mixed with 5lbs semi-fine white gravel. Topped with ~20lbs marine sand (NOT live sand)
3 Seachem Flourish Tabs are strategically buried

filter is Whisper 60. Paintball CO2 and ladder diffuser. air stick on right side.

PLANTS:
java fern (1 very large on left, several small on right)
several stalks of crypto (forget the type)
dwarf sagittaria
Ludwigia SP. 'Red'
Hygrophila Bold
Bacopa Lanigera
hyptis lorentziana
anubias nana petite
Ludwigia repens
Hydrocotyle leucocephala

2 dwarf orange crayfish
5 snowball shrimp
2 juvenile Orange Spotted Sunfish
3 juvenile Flagfish

2 months old. plants are filling in nicely. already time for a trim on a few of them

background. the ludwiggia is looking nice against the backdrop

left side closeup. decent group of crypts starting to fill in

right side - you can see the moneywort wrapping around the stump

dwarf crayfish. the dwarf sagittaria are since starting to fill in with new ones sprouting

early pic - as moneywort grows, will be wrapping it into and around the stump decor

dwarf crayfish examining a tiny snail - the red ramshorn snails have since done a nice job of cleansing the old algae off the tank

stage 1 - next night after initial setup of tank, just added first set of plants. tank looked barren but initial plants took nicely
