The Aquarium Shop..University Dr and the Parkway, great mom and pop store, clean tanks great variety of fish, some plants, lots of equipment lights, filters etc.. helpful and friendly owners (husband and wife) a few young loyal employees.. Great shop
Lucy's Lagoon...9th st. Nice Marine store, he has some beautiful marine tanks and very knowledgeable/helpful..has some fresh water fish and supplys, but he's going strictly marine, and getting away from fresh water. Nice Shop
Petco..Airport Rd. Typical franchise, Clean tanks, dime store fish, basic plants etc.
PetSmart..Carl T. Jones Blvd, Target Shopping Center..Decent shop, clean tanks, tons of your basic fish, 3 tanks designated for plants, large store.
One or two more shops but mostly cichlid's (africans)
The independant shops are much better than the chain stores.
So as you see if you are ever in the Rocket City, we have some nice shops to visit!
