Kyle thank you so much for everything, I dont know if you remember helping me out with the bronze membership a while back but you always responded so fast and efficiently it blew my mind!

Good luck with your new endeavors!

I also would like to thank Kyle for setting up this great site.

While I do worry a little about possible changes for the worse, which can happen, we have to give them a fair chance to do things right. Some changes are bound to occur. This is just the nature of things. If things get really bad, the membership will migrate to a new forum.

So I wish the new owners well, and hope for the best.

Thank you, Kyle, for everything. It was such a joy to find this site after a decade-long hiatus from the hobby. This site is solely responsible for re-introducing me to aquascaping and fish keeping. It is a passion I forgot I had. Change is difficult, but I will give Adam the benefit of the doubt. As others have already mentioned, there are big shoes to fill. Take care and all the best.

If you sign in, there are three ads on the page. A small one at the top, then a standard 728 and then at the very bottom, just before the quick reply box, there's another.

How is that riddled with ads?

If you don't sign in, then you see text ads and additional block ads. But they're still not that unsightly. So I'm not entirely certain what the freakout is about unless people are just that afraid of small adjustments.

Update: As soon as I left this comment, I started seeing tons of ads when signed in. Still not obtrusive, though.

I haven't done anything new since the TPT transfer and I still don't see any ads except one web hosting ad slide text over a featured tank. Guess you guys need to up the anty on your browser's anti-ad plugins.

I haven't been here long, but I can already see this site is amazing compared to other sites of the same caliber online. You truly have put in great work to making this site as convenient and easily accessible as possible.

I salute you!

I hope they open up the SNS for some limited QAs, and bring back the shrimp's drama. I miss the good old days.

There's the invertebrate section for discussions on shrimp.

Hope not. As a buyer I absolutely love how clean it is now. If shrimp's drama is wanted there's RAOK.....

Atleast open up the SNS to replies. Just don't let it bump. I can't count the number of pm's I've gotten asking if I still have the item. Never got those before the change.

People still ask if it is marked unsold. A lot of people don't use this feature so it can become a moot point. While it is nice, but since everybody doesn't have it, you have to ask.

Really people? Can you guys stop to say thanks/farewell to Kyle instead of worrying about SnS? You guys seem to forget if it wasn't for him you would all be trying to sell everything on Aqua bid, I'll take my one sales thread a month and new rules.

Good luck Kyle and thank you for the amazing site. Enjoy the extra free time!

I did now. But you are missing the point.

1 hour after posting I had 3 people asking if I have it.
If it is still up people, then they still have it.

If it says sold, then its sold. If its still up, then its still for sale. Why is that hard to get? I see no reason to pm and ask if they still have the item.
