I have an opportunity to receive an Eheim Marine Pump for free from a friend of mine who has had one in his closet for about 8 months.
Can it be used for CO2?
I'm about to get my tank up and running very soon and if that pump will suffice for CO2 then thats just one less piece of equipment I need to purchase.
That would be a really nice one to try. The impeller looks interesting and one of the best things is you can adjust the flow. Being free, I'd jump all over the offer.
I purchased one of those Eheim Needle wheel pumps a few months back. It seems to be well made. It has adjustable flow from 211 gph to 713 gph. I bought the parts to attach it to 5/8" tubing at Lowe's but I haven't hooked it up yet. http://www.eheim.de/eheim/inhalte/index.jsp?key=liniendetail_28399_ehen
Yeah, I thought that the flow adjustment would be perfect for controlling the flow into the tank.
Well, I will post pics as soon as I get around to picking it up. It should be, at the very least, interesting to play with.
Oh I do have a small tank, its a 60p ADA.
