I am very new to all of this! I have a 29 gallon planted and want to do pressurized C02.

This is what I have been offered:

I have a 5 lb aluminum bottle with a EHEIM regulator and a AquaMedic solenoind for 150.00 and a eheim diffuser

Thanks!

This is what the guy has to say about the eheim regulator, he is going to send me pictures tonight.

"You don't see very often these awesome little guys because they were expensive so not so many people bought them, if my memory serve me right I most have paid a little over 300 just for the regulator.

They are very efficient and accurate uses no electricity unless you use the solenoid; I rather not by the way."

If you were buying new, this is the cheapest you could expect:

Milwaukee Reg/Solenoid/Needle Valve/Bubble Counter ---$90/shipped
5# tank $65-80/filled (locally if you call around)
Ceramic Diffuser, $2

So, anything more than $150-$175 is not a good deal. CO2 stuff doesn't really lose value, but you definitely shouldn't have to pay more for used stuff.
