Silicone seal bad or ok?

I bought a 40 breeder Top fin brand. All the silicone looks great except for this spot on the bottom corner. The inside of the tank is sealed good on this spot. The bottom has excess silicone around the bottom except for this one spot. Would you trust this tank or take it back?

This pic shows the inside silicone, taken from inside the tank:

This pic shows the bottom silicone, where it does not overflow like the rest of the bottom. Also was taken from inside the tank.

Diana, that yellow outline you made is a missing chunk of silicon between the bottom of the glass and the bottom black trim. You can follow the silicon along the black trim from the top of the picture downward until it goes in. After the bend in the corner to the right, the silicon is back.

The top picture shows that the silicon on the inside of the tank is just fine.

Oh, OK. The places where you see it oozing out is excess. Where it appears to be missing is not a problem (unless it really is missing, all the way in) It is just a spot where they did not apply too much.

No, adding more, now, will not help. Silicone does not stick well enough to old (well, already set up) silicone to be of any benefit at this point.
