55 gallon or 75 gallon?! Whats your opinion?!
I am not a newcomer to this hobby, but was forced to take a 10 YEAR BREAK due to a real B#*!H of a soon to be ex wife. I wasn't allowed to have fish tanks due to the "smell".....right. Well anyways my new Girlyfriend LOVES tanks and is very supportive.
We currently have a Fluval Spec V planted with a Wavepoint 6" 8w Led. Aqueon 16gallon Bow front planted with a Fluval C3 HOB Filter, Yeast Generator CO2 and a Wavepoint 18" 6500k led. Then 2 10 gallon tanks for the kids rooms, one of which is totally cheesed out with all spongebob stuff lol.
Ok so the question I have is I was given two tanks, one 55 gallon long and one 75 gallon long. Both came with HOB filters and some misc. crap. I will have to hood both and do lighting, I have a stand that should carry the 75 gallon. If it was you guys which one would you build? Pros Cons either way? I am leaning towards the 75 but is there something I am not considering here? I will be upgrading to canister filters eventually, but its a budget build.
Thanks for your opinions ahead of time!
