Ok guys we have more then enough threads going for the same purpose. Its getting really cluttered in here so lets tone it down. I don't see a need to open any more "eheim pimp" related threads when we have several of them on the go now.

Lets keep it reasonable folks, I don't want to start locking fun threads just because we have too many of them.

P.S. Eheim filters still rule

No not really... I just don't want it getting out of hand. When chatty topics start overwealming the real informative ones then the board starts to lose its focus. One of the reasons this is such a great board is the wealth of information available to anyone who visits. When that information becomes hard to find, or buried amongst "fluff" we become just like a lot of other boards out there.

I'm just trying to keep us on track is all.

Gareth this Eheim pimp club is not fluff, it is serious and now we only need one thread. The Eheim Pimp registration thread started by Mike. We need this thread so that we can work on some numbers to give the Eheim reps and take our proposal further (ie discount to all Eheim Pimp Club members)

So everyone should take this seriously as we are trying to save everyone some money.
Also could we get the Eheim registration thread made into a sticky so that people don't have to go searching for it.

thankyou

Paul

I understand it is serious, thats cool... I have sticky'd the registration thread for that purpose!

We don't however need 3 threads going on the same topic though.. so lets just keep it to the main ones.

If you were a GOOD Eheim pimp, you'd know that this isn't needed because the filters never need to be replaced and thus a discount would be irrelevant!

But everyone knows that you never have just one tank and that there is always room for one more!

Mori some of the products that Eheim use also are disposable, like the sintered glass, filter pads and the like. Even if you only had one filter, you would still benefit from a discount on the disposable products. And if you are like me, I plan on building a monster tank when I build my new house. And that is going to require a monster canister, which Eheim make.

Still working on it. I believe that all the Reps are currently in Germany for a conference, so I will have to wait for two weeks for a reply to my latest Email to the US and Oceania Reps.

So Hold tight, I am doing everything I can to get the discount up and running. In the mean time you can help by encouraging more people to join up. More numbers means we look very serious. So go for your life.
