I have one & haven't had any problems with it. Seems to be more available in Canada.

I installed my REna Cal last night and let it get used to the water temp for over 30 minutes before pluggin it in....

I thin plugged it and set the dial to heat the tank to a good temp of 75 Degrees F....

I wake this morning and the tank is 82 degrees on my Thermometer that I stick on the tank and I feel the tank it feels alot warmer than 75...

I set the dial to 72 and the tank goes down to about 80 or 79...

Now This gets me kind of upset, Since the heater is way off I must take it back and most liekly order an Ebo Jager...
I am going to leave the heater in there set at 68 just while I am on vacation, hope there are no problems with it where it doesnt stop heating!!!

i have 3 rena cal heaters and have lost faith in them. They take a LONG time to acclimate. And when i do a water change it can take a day or two for the thing to re-acclimate. Once they get to temp, they hold it very well. I also found a click to be about a half degree, instead on the one degree they say.
