I know that you can't use the regular magnetic algae scrapers for acryllic tanks (they all say "glass-only"), so I was wondering if there are any out there that are acryllic-safe. I'd like a small one because the tank is only a 5-gallon.

I've been using the Kent pro scraper for the last 4 years with no problem at all.

There is magnetic scraper that is safe for acrylic but I don't recommend you to use it. With good quality acrylic, this magnetic one will still scratch it in the long run. Most smaller acrylic tanks are made with low quality material to cut cost and price. My Hex 5 acryclic got scratches all over after I using the acrylic safe magnetic scraper in less than a month.
