Filter for plant only tank?

I am probably going to be setting up a 40 breeder as a plant only tank. Should I have a filter on it you think?

I've been running for over a year with no filter. Don't need it at all.

Depends on your stocking level. If your going to overstock it to the extreme then a filter would be required.
