Hi,

I'm interested in the Eheim 3585 LIQUIDOSER, but I'd like to hear some reviews from people who've used it. You can find it on the eheim.com page.

Is there anyone out there? Has anyone used it with non-eheim fertilizer?

I use a Liquidoser to supplement a planted tank with Flourish liquid plant suuplement from Seachem. It works well. Makes my life a lot easier. I just refill the resevoir about once every 2 weeks. Shop around on the net, prices vary widely. I think I paid $40 for mine.

Hmmm. This looks like something I would want! You should be able to use it with non-Eheim fertalizer, I don't see why not. How big is it (oz or mL) and where did you find yours m.lemay?

Tank in transition! 55 gallons, hard water.

I got mine here. The resevoir holds close to 4oz. of liquid. you can program it to dose 4 times a day. And you can double dose at any of those times. Feeding the fish twice a day is enough. I don't want to be bothered opening bottles of fertilezer every couple of days, and forgetting. The Eheim is a big thumbs up.

This does look like it would be a big asset to a tank setup although it seems a rather costly way to be rid of a chore. The cheapest I've been able to find it is $79.95 at Drs Foster and Smith.
M. Lemay, where did you find one for $40... or was that a couple of years ago?

There is one for $40 (U.S.) at Big Als online, just search Eheim and you will get everything. It is just labeled "Liquidoser". Leave it to Big Als to have the lowest price I found! You can see it here!

Not only do they not have the liquidoser online in Canada, it's 100.00 in the store. As usual, getting screwed here...:fire:

I noticed that when I was at the site I accidently clicked Canada. The prices were unusually high, but they were higher than the $US equivalent! Wierd... some things don't work the way you think they would.
