CO2 solenoid wont turn off co2

i bought a GLA regulator from someone here on TPT, after hooking up everything, the solenoid seems to have a problem, it wont turn off the co2, even when the solenoid is not even plugged in. co2 is constantly on and i need to find a fix, please help.

picture of the offending solenoid? (or model number, gla has used 3 different solenoids...)

What would Honey Badger do?

OK, well... You need a special too to get that solenoid apart. What I would try is this:

step one, remove tube fitting and bubble counter solution.

step two, connect regulator to cylinder.

3, open cylinder

4, trun psi to 50

5, plug in solenoid and unplug rapidly about ten-15 times. this should help to blow out whatever is keeping the solenoid from closing properly.

If that doesn't work, you'll need a special too to take the solenoid apart to further diagnosis the problem. (peterpual solenoid tool - can find on ebay)

What would Honey Badger do?

tried it and it did not work, peterpual tool? can you provide link

i'm purdy sure he meant Peter Paul - but I can't find a Peter Paul Solenoid Tool on [Ebay Link Removed]

(and we're not allowed to post ebay links on this forum, as a result of a select few just using this forum to peddle their wares for monetary gain and not really participating in the community).
