Essentially, a CNC machine (CNC mill) will allow coordinate input into a computer, which will then control a mill that can cut out shapes/pieces (that can be assembled into a product, etc).
Think I remember using a CAD CAM machine in school. It was like a Lathe if i remember.
Im working on cleaning up another one but im missing one of the brass nuts that holds the glass tube. I may need to buy one and they cost £25 each. Not a cheap toy. My missus just gives me the funniest looks when I walk with regulators on fire Extinguishers and the likes
