Wave Cutter scissors

I love the look of these things. They seem to make things much easier when trimming.

They cost around $60-70 if I did the conversion right. Sheesh, this hobby aint cheap

Dozens to choose from for a heck of a lot cheaper.

Those look nice... if you've got $60-70 to blow on a pair of scissors, go for it. Sure there are cheaper options, but the motivating factor in every purchase doesn't have to be low cost. Personally, I loathe cheap tools that don't work properly or constantly have to be tweaked or replaced.

Ebiken all the way

Wave scissors seem to be generally pretty pricey which I don't mind when they work well. Paying big money for pinsettes doesn't make sense to me.

I got a pair of 12" tweezers from ebay for $5.35 including shipping. Came in about 3-4 days. Forget paying $20+ for those. Look for Micro-Tools on Ebay

I have a set of tools that I paid $25 and Fluval tweezers as well. I definitely find I have better control with my Ebiken tweezers and they more comfortable than the cheapies if used for an extended amount of time. Most importantly they are cool.

In my prior post, I was talking about the $80 - $90 ADA pinsettes. I don't mind paying for quality but $80 for tweezers is kinda obsurd. Once available, I'll be buying several more tweezers so I can always have a clean set while the others are being disinfected.
