CO2 regulator broken?

I appreciate any advice.

I was sitting on the couch when I heard a hiss, looked over to see the bubble checker going crazy and the low pressure valve way way up. I unplugged the solenoid and shut off the gas tank valve.

Now, as soon as I open up the gas the low pressure valve shoots all the way up and the relief valve opens. When I cut the gas off, the pressure valve vents off the gas until about 120 psi where it holds.

Any suggestions?

Sounds like a blown diaphragm.

What would Honey Badger do?

+1. Sounds like a broken diaphragm. Depending on the regulator, you might be able to purchase a repair kit.

Otherwise, you might want to try bringing it to a welding store to see if they can repair it (they should be able to, it is more a function of how much money you are willing to pay).
