I was just like you when I wanted a pressurized co2 system. TRUST ME when I say just wait and get a high quality system. Post in the WTB section on here and see what people have to offer. You would be surprised how many people probably have regulators and co2 tanks sitting around their house not being used that they want to get rid of. I got a Victor regulator (which is one of the better brands) and a 5 lb co2 tank, both very lightly used for around $125 shipped. Then get you a good needle valve. I got a Fabco NV-55-18 which cost around $35. Then you can order your bubble counter, diffuser and all that from eBay. They have glassware from suppliers in Hong Kong that look just like the ADA and more expensive stuff but its dirt cheap. Once you get all of that hooked up you can save up for a solenoid to automatically shut your co2 off and on when your lights are on and off. If I have learned one thing from this hobby it's to suck it up and just spend the money on what you want/need the first time because if not you will be spending it later when your not satisfied or something breaks. Btw here is a picture of my current system. Needless to say I love it.

I was stupid and sold my pretty sweet CO2 reg thinking I'd never get back into a high-tech tank. Now I want a high-tech nano tank...go figure. I need to see if I can score one of those $40 regs and build something myself. If I could keep it at or below $200, I'd be a happy camper. I still have my 10# bottle.
