Need help making sure I've got everything for CO2 Setup

I'm so new to the CO2 thing but would like to get one up and running.

I have the following:

Milwaukee CO2 Regulator W/Solenoid with a 2F-H3L-V-SS-TC Parker needle valve with JBL style bubble counter attached

Just ordered ARCHAEA SUPER CO2 DIFFUSER S SIZE from AFA with the special tubing.

Also ordered a 5lb CO2 tank

Is there anything else I need? Obviously I'll need to get it filled but is there anything else I need to buy?

Drop checker maybe?
With API pH test kit as fluid for it

Sounds like you have the basics. Drop checkers are nice to have. The fluid for the bubble counter could be many different things. The only other thing I wold recommend would be the timer to plug the solenoid into if you dont already have one. Co2 was one of the greatest things i did for my tank.enjoy!

Drop checker with 4 dkH reference solution and bromothymol blue solution.
Glycerin or mineral oil if you do not plan to use water in your bubble counter.

Finally, if you are planning to use the Parker metering valve with the bubble counter (and plan on mounting it to your regulator), you will need some additional fittings to connect it to the solenoid.

I was going to use RO for the bubble counter. Do I mix the dkH 4 and blue solution? Never heard if the blue solution.

And actually I bought it with the Parker valve already attached

Any recommendations for drop checkers? Is there value in buying a $50 one off Green Leaf Aquariums vs a $10 one?

RO water is fine for the bubble counter.

The 4 dkH reference solution and bromothymol blue are to be used in a drop checker. API pH tester is bromothymol blue.

I just buy a cheap one (less than 10 USD) off eBay and it worked fine for me.

Oh gracias!

So I should have a line from the bubble counter to a check valve, and then to the diffuser correct?

You're going to want a check valve before the bubble counter. The idea is to keep liquid from getting to the rig. You can put one after the bubble counter as well, but it's not as important. If water backs up into the bubble counter, no problem. If water backs up into the nv and solenoid, problem.
