Good Deal?

Would getting both an Eheim 2213 and Fluval 206 in excellent condition for under $60.00 be a good deal? Additional notes: Filters do not include the hoses or media besides filter sponges/pads.

Definitely! As long as they work, then you can get hosing to fit them from Home Depot for under $10.

Forgot to add that they do not include inflows and outflow plastic pieces, but I plan to use glass pipes anyways.

Still a great deal! I would jump on it in a heartbeat, especially since you plan on getting new glass pipes which are readily available online

Go for it. You may not like eheim's green hoses on your clear glass pipes anyways. Oh and does the eheim come with quick disconnects? IMO they make your life much easier when you have to clean your glassware weekly, as well as reduce the chance of breaking them.

Yeah I just got both filters for $57.00 haha. It does not come with quick disconnects. Is this something most Eheims come standard with or is it more of an add on?

Good job thats a great price! No the quick disconnects come with it you kinda need them unless you want a mess. They are a bit of a pain to get going

So a guy walks into a Pet Store

Guy: "I have Algae on my drift wood!"

Pet Clerk: "Take two Plecos and call me next week."

Good Deal?

Yup! And they are kinda expensive to buy separately. But it is still not a bad deal on the filters!

Luckily the fluval 206 doesnt need quick disconnects. I might just sell the eheim since it was a package deal anyways.
