Help getting mineral oil into glass drop checker

Yah, I can't think of how to do this without a small needle of some sort. The dropper I have is too big, and there was too much mess just trying to pour everything in at once.

Why not just use water? I've always used it and never had any issues with it.

drop checker fluid is 4dkh solution. What is your reason for using mineral oil?

I was confused too; perhaps HybridHerp meant a bubble counter?

maybe you're right Darkblade. Bubble counter makes more sense.

If that's what you meant, I use an oral syringe connected to a short piece of airline tubing to control the amount and flow of fluid into my bubble counter. But I use distilled water instead of mineral oil.

Yah, I meant bubble counter (I'd been planting plants and attempting to make my co2 be in working condition all day, my brain was mush).

And I did manage to get the oil in. I figured I'd use the mineral oil cause I know you need to replace the water relatively often, and I want this set up to be easy for my parents to maintain since I'll be in college most of the time (I don't want them to have to constantly refill a glass bubble counter.....hard enough to get the tubbing onto the thing in the first place)

I just used a flavor injector for meat to get the oil in. At first, my mom thought it would be a good idea to try insulin needles.........let me tell everyone who is new to this that it is NOT A GOOD IDEA T_T. The needle on that is too small to even suck up the mineral oil, much less push it out and into the counter.

*Sigh*, I have to do my other bubble counter soon as well, hopefully that one won't be so annoying. I just hope I have all the tubing and things set up correctly, cause I'd rather avoid accidents. Its my first time messing with co2 at all. I feel insane and my parents are now questioning my logic....and its hard to explain it to them cause they don't understand science type things, even when I try and explain them *sigh*
