c02 bubble count to high?

I am just wondering if im having co2 issues... My bubble count is possibly to high?
Its a 50 gallon aquarium... Lights on at 3pm, off at 11pm.
Mid-time of my lights on my drop checker is at green/yellow color

How are the fish acting? If they are a bit sluggish and hanging out towards the top of the tank, espescially towards the end of the photoperiod, then you might think about toning down the co2 a tad. If they are active throuhout the whole day, then I think your co2 is fine.

I have a 110g tank and it's a little slower then that and I get both of my drop checkers {one on each end of the tank} turn green and stay there all day.
Are you using co2 line? I would check for leaks at each connection of the hose line?

Mine is a bit faster than that in my 120g, but I'm pushing CO2 pretty hard. I pulled my drop checker out early on because I was finding that I was pushing into the yellow anyway. I go by total pH drop during the day now. I get about 1.2 pH drop through the day while the CO2 is on. When I go to 1.3-1.4 drop, I start to see signs of fish stress.

I have a 57 gallon and that's how my bubble counter looks. The 5 lb tank lasts three months and the fish are happy so Im not concerned. If you have decent surface movement so your fish have plenty of oxygen, they should be able to tolerate that amount.

It looks slightly faster than my bubble rate on my 30 gallon, so on a 55 i would think it would be fine. What kind of diffuser are you using? That could also potentially influence bubble count.
