... the burkert 2822 is that the lowest watt ? i guess the lower the watts the less heat it gives out as i heard... also is there one in a 12vdc or a 24vdc doesnt matter or play into any heat problems?
Why are you so enamored with the idea of heat and Burkert solenoids? They don't get hot to melt plastic or catch paper on fire. They will melt the wax on a candle though. Does that sound dangerous to you?
If you are worried about heat, check out ballasts and light bulbs. These pose a slight danger.
As someone who is attempting to use the Clippard solenoid as well, I'd agree with the previous comments and advise to use the Burkert solenoid. Much less hassle connecting and a debatable heat difference.
ok so i got tired of looking for a solenoid that would work and betta wouldnt sell a custom manifold alone so i took the time to find the parts to "Tap" my own hole into the clippard manifold and here is the new look to my co2 setup with the manifold.... manifold with a custom 1/8" npt port and it holds the weight fine... no problems... no leaks also...
