In talking to the contractor did you get the feeling prefilter and sediment filters are the norm for your area? In my experience with wells they were not needed except in known problem areas. In many areas where the underground water is pretty stable, filters are not needed. Your report doesn't show anything that I would feel needed a filter other than the standard stuff. If you don't treat the water with chlorine for safe drinking, I would see no reason for using Prime. It is good for chlorine/chloramine removal but if you don't add any, there will be none to remove??? I would not add chlorine as it shows no bacteria.

I like the idea of a reserve water supply with something to move the water around just so it can get up to room temp and doesn't go stagnant. Otherwise it looks like good clean water.

For a time, I maintained a community well system for about a hundred meters and we had much the same water report. We finally were required to do chlorine just due to the number of people served but it was just as a DNR requirement. Over time the groundwater safety requirements are getting tougher and our wells were both in service past 30 years so they had less casings, etc. than the current requirements. Generally underground water is much safer than surface water.

Will it's been a long time , in Feb. I had 2x Big Blue's filter installed and a water softener . I had a RO installed for drinking {with it's own Chrome Faucet for food an drinking } and ran the line for the fridge for ice and water. I use a sediment filter and a charcoal filter one each 20x4.5 whole house filter, water taste great! I think this time I going to add just 2x sediment filters {5 microns} an not use the charcoal and see how the water is. Right now there is now foul smell from the showers or bath room sinks.
I didn't set up my fish tank yet , I did set up our turtle tank. I don't think I will be starting on building in the basement this year . I got a injury and broke my tibial plateau and got compartment syndrome on my right leg since June 1, No weight Bearing yet ,not for a while this year, It's sad looking at all my equipment down there. It all happen by just hoping of my tail gate of my pick truck!! sucks getting old!!
