CarbonDoser EXT5000 (External Reactor)

I just got my new CarbonDoser EXT5000 (External Reactor 5000) from my ups man and was expected to get a big box ? But was kind of surprise that it was small box. Will be installing it in a couple of weeks .
But would like to hear the people that are using it with there Eheim 2262 filters
does this slow any flow does it really diffuses all the co2 with a high bullbe for a tank bigger than 100g ,
I was thinking of avoiding in using the elbows and go to the hardware store and buy the strait connection instead .

I don't really see a lack of flow out of it. It is pretty much free flow through it. I used the elbows but I didn't have much of a choice under my stand.

Would it be Ok to run the pump that's in side of this reactor on a timer with the co2, so that it will shut off at night?

No reason you couldn't wouldn't change flow at all.

Well I Findley put the reactor on line . I used 1 elbow so that I could still use my Hydro 300w heater inline . My bubble count is high and I get tiny bubbles blown into my tank but nothing like the atomic diffuser I can live with that.
I would still make a larger DIY like this later on.
IMO: the house filter is small for a higher flow rate to bad I couldn't just change the "glass jar" to a longer size.
