I will start by saying that I am not planning on using a Kent BioRocker on a planted tank. That Said, I have no experience with Wet/Dry filters but I am intetested in finding the best type of filter for a future chiclid tank (90-100 gallon capacity). I have had cichilids before (both South American, and African) and have found that power filters couldn't keep up with their mess (even when I over filtered the tank). Since I am lazy, and want to spend most of my fist tank mainenance hours tending to my planted tanks I am looking for a better alternative. SO what are your opinions on Wet/dry filters in particular the Kent BioRocker? What are the major benefits of a Wet/Dry filter?
