I hear ducks! Lol.......

I decided to try this check valve on my new regulator build.

Part# MJCV-1BA

Finished the build, after the solenoid manifold it goes to an elbow, then the check valve, then a push to connect fitting. My tubing will then run from there to my other manifold which has 3 fabco needle valves.

Now the ducks part.....
I hooked up the regulator to the co2 tank, just to check the solenoid.
I set the pressure from 10-35psi and the check valve seems to make a sound like a duck choking on a kazoo. Is this because it's free flowing with no back pressure? Or a bad check valve? I'm guessing it's the seal vibrating, but was curious if any one else has seen this.

Cheers

Good for the ducks!!
No experience with ducks though so have to make a guess that you are correct and you are hearing some unusual sound from the seal. Is it practical to stopper up the putput to check when it is not blowing straight through? Maybe just crimp the end of a tube for a bit?

Ok, just an update.... Since the system was fully connected, the ducks choking on kazoos has stopped.

May the ducks rest in peace.

Once upon a time I had ludwigia. It disintegrated.
