Any know when to find glass like dish

Hey guys with shrimp where can I find those glass like dish to put inside the tank where I can drop there food at?

tea cup saucer? you can also use the terracotta pot saucers too.

petri dishes are what I think people are using. You can search for lab equipment. You might even be able to find them on Ebay..

lots of great stuff @ carolina biological supply (carolina.com)...great prices on daphnia cultures as well!

Well that is, unless you get a mint flavored paramecium culture... Dunno if those are publicly available yet though. (they do exist)

Glass petri dishes are what you're looking for. Also I'd avoid plastic personally...

It's been... more years than I want to admit... since I was in elementary school and we had a bunch of cultures. I know one was paramecium, but I don't remember it smelling bad? Shouldn't that only happen if the water is dirty?

You might want to try to find a watch glass. About 1/3 the price of a glass petri dish and unless you need the 90 degree edge of a petri, it'll do the job.

I'm just using a glass ashtray i found randomly around the house. The only thing it had in it was dust. I bet every other house will have one kicking around somewhere.

I found some acrylic "custard'' dishes/cups in Kmart in the glassware aisle. I think they were about 69 cents ea.
