Fumbled Entire Clutch??

I have a new colony of pumpkin shrimp that had two berried females. This is the first time they've been berried and yesterday I noticed a cluster of eggs dangling on the sponge filter. It looks like one of my females has just dropped them all? Is this normal? I didn't see any molts, but I know it could have already been eaten. I'm aware that they newbies can fumble a few eggs, but dropping the whole clutch??

Its quite normal as they are inexperienced and the next time they are burried they wont drop any. Sometimes it can be them being stress or it got stuck in some moss but for the most part its quite normal and you should not worry.

Are shrimps' eggs formed a cluster or individually formed?

Could they be snails' eggs?

Definitely shrimp eggs. They were just resting on the sponge filter and now I've only got one berried female.

I wouldn't completely count on that. Although it may seem like she dropped her eggs, they may have hatched and you cant see them and the thing on the sponge filter is something else? Just trying to think optimistically!

Eggs on a sponge filter will sometimes hatch as well.

RAOK Club and BBRR Club! My thinking has been invert-ed!

Can you incubate without taking the eggs out of the dead female body?

That's the weird part they weren't attached to a molt. It literally looked like she decided to drop them all at once.
