Red Rillis Solid Red!?

so i had some red and blue rillis in a tank.. got busy with jobs and marriage.. neglected tank..

long story short..

i have 5 survivors.. almost all red..

had them mixed with TT.. but i assume they are rillis.. since one of them has the white body also..

anybody experience this?

rilis can throw cherries since it is in their background.

It definitely would be better to start with a new rili colony instead of mixing those genes in.

in order to keep a good rili pattern it takes alot of culling. i got every thing from all clear but a small dot on the head to solid red like cherrys cause i never culled. to keep a really good pattern takes a lot of work.

yepper. That's why high grade rilis were once high in demand when they came out, and then they went by teh wayside when people realized their colonies were not looking high grade after awhile. I really enjoy the look, but you do have to cull often to keep it.
