Orange Neo's

I got abt.30 orange neo's today from a hobbyist.

Just finished drip accimilation and getting them used to the tank temp. for half an hour. There colors are not the brightest right now due to stress I believe within a week they'll get relaxed in their new home.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed with the Neo's! I waited for a long time to get them.

Nope I didn't pay for the red ramshorn and for the price of 20 I got 30 neo's from the hobbyist.

How it works ? Barter system!

I got the hobbyist a few mosses n plants from my collection which he did not have and exchanged for mosses lacking in my collection.

I got 5 red sakura shrimps as a gift too coz I wanted to add new genes to my current sakura tank. I got 7 ramshorns 4 red and 3 blue.
He added a baby rabbit snail as well.

As for bridgesi apple snail I have enough and mine do not eat plants.

Today I saw carbon rili with a blue tinge for the first time in one of the many aquariums the hobbyist keeps in his shrimp room.

You all should know an imp. quality abt. Israeli shrimp hobbyists they're people who love the hobby and not in it just to earn a big profit.

Whatever they earn selling shrimp is barely enough to cover the expenses. Yet we all help each other we are a rather close community of shrimp keepers.
If anyone loses shrimps for any reason (tank wiped out, damages, etc) we all help him to build his tank back and contribute whatever we can i.e.shrimps, mosses, etc.

I especially love that. We all have to help each other.

Even for being stressed those are pretty shrimp! Looks like a nice mossy tank they are going into as well, I'm sure they will thrive.
