Here is the new tank, almost cycled just need to check if I've missed anything or if I have too much live rock/dead coral in there. Temperature is around 70, brackish, RO water. Will add some brackish moss later, possibly snails?
Looks like it could work, though you likely won't need that much surface agitation or water movement.
You should probably avoid plants in a brackish tank. Though, you could try something like Chaetomorpha, a macroalgae.
Yes macroalgae is what I meant, not moss. :P I know there is too much surface agitation right now, but that is just for cycling, I needed something to help get the bacteria started and the salt mixing. Its difficult to get the filter any slower so I may just take it out altogether.
So more lava rock, cool so I guess not much more to do. The snails I was thinking of getting are either nerites or other snails specific to brackish water. Petshrimp.com sells them along with macroalgae.
