new shrimp food

Hey guys I just made some of my first food for inverts. And my shrimp loved it! The crowded my food like they do jakes when I feed them. This is my first time making shrimp food, I have made baby cichlid food before though, that was fun haha. So for the lucky four breeders that get to try it in my raok can post there pictures concerns and feedback on the food here.

Currently my stocking is the following(I can't find them all ATM but I know there in there somewhere haha they like to hide in my plants)
10-13 rcs
13 blue bee paracaridina
2crs

And they all ate the food, it was literally gone not a crumb left in 5 hours

I also have some small mystery snails, three thorn snails, a couple rams horn snails, I usually seed my other tanks with when its time for feeding my yoyo loach zebra loach and assassin snails, and they gobbled it all down to.

I tested water params before and after and nothing changed
Ph6.4
Ammonia0
Nitrate 0
Nitrite 0
Gh3-4 I forget wich
Kh2 which I got down from 4 I believe

No cloudy water, no mess, sinking, no dead shrimp

It's all organic, carrots, spinach, zucchini, red river shrimp, spirulina, and my secret ingredient. Wich I will not give out but will tell you it's organic found in nature.

Some photos now haha

Glad it's working out for you. Keep the food away from yellow shrimp though. The spirulina will cause problems with their color.

RAOK Club and BBRR Club! My thinking has been invert-ed!

That's right, I completely forgot about the color effects on the yellow shrimp, haha. Well if this batch goes well and enough of the breeders I'm raoking it to have good reviews on it I will make a second batch for yellows, and start making several kinds for selling.

Right now I'm testing it on my amano shrimp, solely because my amano shrimp are picky eaters, won't eat jakes food, no hikari carnivore pellets, no zucchini blanched etc. but they eat my flake food I give my beta.

To those who are getting some of my new shrimp food, I just mailed them out today. Paid the extra 75 cents to make sure they get to you and don't get sent back to me.

Hey Subtletanks91,

Just wanted to let you know that the post office tried to deliver it today, but had to open it. So, I'll have to pick it up tomorrow. Should I refrigerate it when I get it?

Thanks for the food!

I only have 10 PRF Cherry shrimp in this tank and some of the females are hiding in the huge moss clump giving birth. They LOVED the food though. I dropped a couple large pieces in. Lots of snails in the tank too.

Within 2 minutes.

Within 3 minutes.

5-10 minutes

After 15-20 minutes.

30+ minutes

Baby =)

Awesome, I'm glad your shrimp and snails are enjoying the food, I switched between my food for 2 days and then some other food and back to myne for 2 days and it seems that the more often I out it in the more they decide to go after my food than the other. I'm working on several different varieties right now, so I will make it to start distributing it on tpt. It will be cheap because it is cheap to make. And it is all organic so no need to worry about harmful pesticides or any critters. Since I started feeding this food, along with a carnivore pellet once a week my shrimp have been saddled again, I am expecting them to start getting berries soon. I'm excited and happy that you guys have had good luck with this food so far.

Nyx, the clutch I had shown you has not hatched yet. I'm wondering if I should have left it alone.

And I'm glad the snails love it, so shrimps love it the snails love it. I wonder if ottos will go for it as well.

I will drop a piece in my bigger tank and see if the Ottos go for it. The only food that I put in that they go for is Zucchini, so it would be great to know there was something else out there for them.

Well, the Corydoras gobbled it up in a hurry and the poor Ottos never even had a chance. So, add Corys to the Loves the food" list.
