Shrimp in 2.5g?

So my 2.5g has been sitting in dust for months n im wondering what to do with it. My filter is too strong so i dumped it. How many shrimp can i house in 2.5g and what plants are essential for a non filter tank.

Opae Ula's. Need no filter, and you can have lots in a small tank.

I start with 10 cherry shrimp in a 3 gallon and have spawned to about 50.

6, 10, 15 I don't think shrimp carry a big bio load but start with a reasonable amount and give em good conditions and they will tell you how many you can have. As a side note they haven't bred again since reAching their current density

It is better to travel well than to arrive.
