shrimp look milky

So in my tank I've been experiencing some deaths which I think is from frrtilizing so I've decided to stop with that. But ive seen a few of my cherry shrimp look really milky in thrir bodies. Almost like when you see a dead shrimp. What does this mean and what is the cause of it?

Well, its probably a bacterial infection or really poor water quality, maybe both. I've had that problem before, and am currently dealing with it. :/

My 20 gallon planted shrimp tank is my pride and joy!

Tannins. Add tannins and it will help curb infection, although if it *is* an infection and they are that opaque already, they are most likely goners.

RAOK Club and BBRR Club! My thinking has been invert-ed!

My shrimp turn milky after they molt. I usually add some Mosura Tonic Pro just in case it is infection though, along with alder cones and IAL.

What temp is your tank? Shrimp are more prone to infection when the temperature is high.

How I feel about non-planted aquariums.
