Question How many Indian Almond leaves do I need?

I have 4 shrimp tanks. I just got a shipment of very large Indian Almond Leaves. By large I mean they are about 10 inches long tip to tip, and about 7 inches wide at the widest points.

How many of them should I use per tank?. I know if will depend on the water parameters, but Im looking for a nice ballpark number to start with. I can adjust from there with water tests.

My Tanks:
75 Gallon - Orange Eye Blue Tiger/Cherry Shrimp
37 Gallon - Crystal Red/Crystal Black
37 Gallon - Blue Pearl Shrimp
20 Gallon - Blue Velvet shrimp

How many should I start with in each tank? How many should I end with? How long before I start seeing changes in pH and water color?

I usually have 1-2 IAL leaves in my 20G at all times. I'd say 2-4 in the 37G and 75G. It's really up to you though. haha

I think if you should try them out on your own if you're curious about pH changes, etc. although I don't think it would be that drastic of a change. Start with one leaf in each tank, wait a day or two and test, if it's still in your "safe zone" for that shrimp, go ahead and add another (to the larger tanks). If I were you though, I'd just go ahead and add 1-2 to the 20G, ~3 for the 37G, and 3-4 for the 75G. That's just me though, people have their own preferences
