Curious, can Micro Crabs Live With...

Just curious if I might be able to try Micro Crabs in my Fluval Flora.
I think theyre really neat lil creatures & would love to get some eventually. Was wonder if they'd be ok with the critters I currently have or if they'd be best in a different set up. If a different set up, what can be housed with them?

Current tank mates are...
Scarlet Badis
Julii Corys
Amano Shrimp
Sunkist Shrimp (orange neo)
Mystery Snail

I don't think my Badis would bother them... but not 100% sure, so asking you all. Again, from what I've read I think micro crabs and shrimp get along ok, not sure.

Thanks for any insight or feedback.

I have them with CPOs, RCS, Assassin and MTS and a peaceful Betta, Si, in a heavily planted tank with lots of hiding places (they spend a lot of time in my shrimp tower). My other Betta killed them.

If I were to lose Si, I would keep them in an inverts-only tank. JMO.

Badis are baaaad little buggers! They happily ate shrimplets all day long when I had them and occasionally would take out mid sized shrimp as well. I'd be quite wary of keeping them with microcrabs

I was worried the badis might be too much attitude and such for em. Thanks. I'll just wait and put them in a shrimp set up down the road.

When they don't feel threatened, they are very active and fun to watch. It took them several weeks to get comfortable with Si. The ones with Willie didn't have a chance. :-(

Makes sense, so I''m assuming most active/happy in an invert only tank? I can do that

Even with my previous comment about the badis...I've had huge shrimp populations in apisto tanks...HEAVILY planted tanks...lots and lots and lots of shrimp, but they were always hiding in the plants. Hard to spot and enjoy.

I like to toss a baby guppy in my shrimp only tanks to take care of whatever little bugs show up from time to time. This works fine for me as well.

If you get the TMC, the best thing to do is have blue LED lights. I turn those on about 8:00 and that's when they come out to play and eat. I've watched them climb right over the CPOs and RCS as if they weren't even there. I've also watched the RCS zoom into and around Si; almost as if they're playing with him.

I'm lucky, my tanks are on my end table so I can enjoy them when I'm on the laptop or watching TV.
