Nerite snail???

Bought new tank today and painted all 3 sides black. Got Azoo Plant Grower Bed.

After transferring most of the life stock I saw my Spixi went and attack? mate? with my Nerite and I see this yellow thingy coming out of it. I tried pulling on it but it seem like a part of the snail body.

What is it?

Finally found my last remaining Thai Micro Crab seem like there are 2 missing legs (suspect: Amano)

When nerites breed, the male gets on the female and they fit together, he then extends his reproductive organ inside her shell and wraps it around. So I think that is his organ, stuck outside because that is what it looks like when it's extended out, which normally you wouldn't have been able to see. He had a malfunction :P

Cool snail expert. So you're saying my Nerite trying to mate with Spixi? I wonder what's the end result going to be.

Also I try pulling its "thingy" with a tweezers hopefully that's not the cause of losing his manhood.

"Prolonged erection greater than 4 hours and priapism (painful erections greater than 6 hours in duration) have been reported infrequently since market approval of VIAGRA. In the event of an erection that persists longer than 4 hours, the patient should seek immediate medical assistance. If priapism is not treated immediately, penile tissue damage and permanent loss of potency could result."

I watched on Discovery that snail can "go at it" for 24-48 hrs long.
