Royal Blue Tigers Arrived Today! Videos added!!!

I ordered 7 royal blues from Nick a couple weeks ago. Well they arrived at 11am this morning looking even more amazing than they did in the pics! These are hands down the sexiest shrimp I have ever seen, don't tell my wife but I think I'm in love lol. Now onto pics.

Unfortunately I was at work when they came, but my amazing wife did a perfect job getting them dripping for me. Here is how they looked when I got home from work.

Dripped for almost 5 hours and here is one going into the tank.

A sexy pair

That's all for now but I got a whole bunch more. Really hope these guys do even half as good as my oebt. I highly recommend you guys buy up everyone of these next time Nick brings them in. Thanks again Nick!

Thanks Jaime! These guys really have surpassed my expectations. They seem to be doing great foraging all around behaving like all the other oebt. You need to hurry up and set up a higher ph tank, my tank is getting over run with babies, and some of them are just crying to go on a trip to your house.

I swear, I've got two 3 gallon Deep Blues sitting here just BEGGING me to do something with them. we may be talking VERY soon. I think I know where my problem has been (pH), but I want to match everything you're doing.

Have fun with those Royals, only thing that stops them from breeding and thriving is temps. So keep those locked and you are good. My BTOE have probably now hit 400+ in the 20L it is crazy

Very nice!

What substrate are you using with them?

Sbarb I use a reefkeeper with to clip fan and central air in my apartment. Tank stays between 68 and 68.2. My oebt are quite prolific so I think I should have some good luck with them.
Lex I am using a old worn out aqua soil for substrate. Have not noticed even the littlest bit of a nitrate creep or anything, maybe all the hc soaks it up. It also does not buffer the even a little bit although the 10lbs of seriyu does.
Here's an old fts

Thanks Bryce and Clemson. They are doing great, all still accounted for. Fed some benibachi golden eye food(thanks Jaime!) and they went nuts for it. Atleast 6 of the 7 were out battling for food.
More pics!

Nice! How do you get your HC to grow so nicely without CO2? Do you dose Excel?

I just grew it in super thick with dsm. Now I use 0 co2, excel, or ferts even. It just grows like mad for me, really can't explain it. I have a high tech tank and have grown just about every popular plant available and hc has hands down been the easiest plant I have grown. I trim maybe a third of it a once a week it grows so quick and to keep it from pulling up. The tank has been running since November so it really has been a great long term plant. I've been told I am just very lucky lol.
