Think I made a bad decision with snails

I just bought 2 zebra nerite snails last minute (I know, I know)
And soon as I walked in the house remembered that I don't think shrimp do well with excel, so does that mean it will hurt these snails too?

I don't dose the full amount, and only dose every other day, think they'd be alright?

My nerites are surviving a daily 5 ml dose into a 20 gallon tank, that;s a heavy dose.

I've never had Excel harm either snails or shrimp. I have heard some stories of Excel harming sensitive fish, however.

Oh good!!! So glad to hear cause I really did not want to have to take them back!

And good to hear about the shrimp too... Maybe it just depends on certain factors. Although can't get shrimp myself, I could see them losing a battle quickly with my tiger barbs :s

Um, also, I just started acclimating them, and it looks like one is latched on to the other. Is that normal?

You have to be more concern for PH levels. I kill a lot of them in ph 6.5 and under.

Eggs will only hatch in brackish.

Mating will still occur with eggs popping up. Just no offspring will occur.
