'Ghost' shrimp tries to eat its own fry
Here's the story. I set up a new shrimp bowl and bought 4 berried ghost shrimp to start the cycling process (don't worry I seeded it with some media). When I came back from school I noticed one female didn't have eggs any more, and there were/are about 15 small shrimplets, each averaging 3-4 mm long. They seem to be OK, but the only problem is that another mother will run around trying to grab and eat the small shrimp!!! There's moss for biofilm and I added some of Jake's seasonal carrot, both which are being ignored. Does this mean ghosts will try to eat the fry of other species?!?
Help please, I don't want to add any neos until this issue is fixed.
