Just found a RCS outside of my tank...still alive.
Luckily for this shrimp the aqueon evolve2 that it lives in is in my bedroom on my dresser where I was heading for the night. About 5 minutes ago I walk in there and see one of my cherries about 8 inches in front of the tank laying on it's side on the dresser.
It must of just happend as I quickly noticed that it was still alive. I tried to be as careful as I could and used my hands to pick it up and put it back in the tank. Within about 5 seconds of it going back in the tank it was eating and on the hunt for food.
I've heard of this happening but never experienced it. Is this normal? Something that just happens from time to time? Think it jumped out or crawled out?
I found the tank cover in my closet and put it right on just in case. Thanks for any input.
