Full Body Molts vs Partial Molts

Hey guys! I have a quick question about molting. I have noticed that some shrimp in my tank are doing molting their full body and others are doing a full molt but with two parts, the head and the body/abdomen. I would assume that we would want a full body molt for our shrimp, but what is going on when they do this partial molt with the head and body coming off separately?

I'm using mosura mineral ultra plus and my gh is around 6-7 at the time of a water change, TDS fluctuates around 175-185 from after a weekly water change to before. Ph is at 6.4

Are you witnessing them molt like this? Cause if not, the molts are just being munched on or fought over and that's why they are in two parts.

Same thing I was thinking. Often when being chewed on, they'll rip apart.

RAOK Club and BBRR Club! My thinking has been invert-ed!

The two separate molts usually came from one full molt.

Yea I thought this too as I was typing this thread out because they look like clean molts, but just thought I'd ask
