Arrow How does one know if 'PRL' are actually legit PRL?

So I was looking on eBay, and came across some 'PRL' SSS grade shrimp, But the picture is no good and you can't tell how well they are colored, legs or not. So is they only way you can tell is if they breed out goldens or not?

In addition, it mentions no specific line.

How I feel about non-planted aquariums.

Cheap pure red line is a round triangle. But maybe you just hit the jackpot. There is a post on SN talking about how to tell a shrimp is a PRL or not, but that will take a while to experiment. I say, forget about PRL, just get the shrimps you really like.

+1 PRL may be less expensive later on, but they are still new enough that they are still $$$

RAOK Club and BBRR Club! My thinking has been invert-ed!

PRL are just a generic term saying no other golden or cbs genes or anything really. Now PRL aren't really special until they have some unique quality IMO, like solid whites or deep reds or certain legs.

That's why benibachi, crimson, etc are expensive

A lot of selective breeding has taken place in those lines.

Like judge Milan always says "The cheap comes out expensive!" They might look good, but get them home and they may have a disease or be a bait and switch. Then you have a bunch of shrimp you don't want. Spend a little more and buy from here or local fish club. That's what I did. Shout out to soothing, sbarbbee and Speedie! go with the safe bet!!

I wouldn't buy of eBay. Chances of getting what you think you are is very slim. I wouldn't buy anything but low grade cherries there. Lots of people already learned this lesson for you so don't do it unless you don't mind getting something else.
