You should try Tiger crayfish. I had one in my marbled cray tank and it may have been able to control the population if left in there. It would tear apart and adult marbled cray every couple of days.

I am drawn to crays because of their destructive side. Something about me being a kid and finding them in the nearby creek has gotten me fond of them.
