paraguard does not kill shrimp. i've dosed according to the directions in my shrimp tanks and they are all doing perfectly fine and got rid of the bacterial infection. but to see a BV looking milky and to swim around in circles, could it be vorticella? i have seen videos of shrimp being devoured inside out due to these protozoa in the course of a few weeks..

Update is not good-unfortunately.
I put some pfr, orange sakura and yellows in to blue velvet contagion tank in order to give them infection. Then separated shrimps in 4x 5gal tanks and start treating them with medications in different order, amount and combinations. Used so far: Maracyn 2,E.M. Erythromycin, Hydrogen piroxide, melafix, pimafix, Kenaplex, metilen blue, malachite green, extract from IAL ,some herbs-didn't look for latin-american names.
Result:PFR and blue neos/blue dream stop dying on 2-3th week-I think that medications didn't help them. Probably their gene is stronger. Yellows and orange-every 3-4 th day one or two shrimps get cloudy and have been dying in 3-6 days. They get sick after molt or after releasing eggs. Looks like stress or when they are with low immune resistance bacteria is catching them? I don't know why all those medications can't kill bacteria. In my spectrum there are gram negative, gram positive, aerobic and anaerobic medications. Somehow shrimps won't benefit from medications. Now I start to understand why Mosura, Shirakura, Benibachi etc. are making only immune support supplements .
In positive side there are over 100 baby shrimps-so far medications and bacteria doesn’t hurt them.

Some of medication can't do their job correct because of highTDS level 220 and over. Some didn't like PH over 6.5 too.

Interesting, thanks for sharing your information.

I'm just going to remove cloudy ones...and count them as dead...I don't have large populations so I don't want to risk others getting sick.

If prevention seems the way to go, then that makes sense. Kind of like how human health care is going.

the second pic of the first post looks like the shell is really thick ie causing the white. i have had crs molt and shells be really white. if the shell is to thick or thin that will cause death. tds even though high to some standards my shrimp were all in a tds of 220 if not a bit higher and didnt die from it. could it be a combination of both high tds and bacterial cause i dont think its just one lone cause.
