I have 2 of them in a tank with crs/cbs and some velvets....they're the same size as my crs. I've only had them for 2weeks thus far but they seem to be doing well. Not sure if 2 is enough to breed out but just got them more for variety anyways.

I like em. To me, at least, they seem to be a little more active than other shrimpies I have. Again, that's just me speaking here.

Nothing special parameter wise. Seems to be pretty hardy.

I am also curious, was thinking of mixing them in with my PFRs. I have seen some people keeping them with Neos.

a Ph of 7.0 would be ideal for TT + PFR's

I might be the odd one out, but I think Tangerine Tigers are one of the best shrimp we have access to. I keep mine with my Blue Velvets. GH of 6, KH of 2 and TDS of about 190. Temps in the upper 60's to lower 70's. PH between 6.8 to 7.2. I have some juvies in the tank right now, and the mother they came from is preggers for the third consecutive month.

curious: has anyone created successful crosses with TT? I'm wondering what TT can cross with and whether the cross look like brown wild types or look great...

They can cross with caridina cantonensis, so basically crs, cbs, taiwan bee, tigers. The crosses look like orange and black and white stripes.

I keep them in the following conditions:
PH 7.4, KH 3, GH 7~9.

Tanks full of babies at the moment. Had them for 4 months or so, haven't lost any.

TT's are more aggressive than other dwarf shrimp, and there have been reports of them attacking other shrimp immediately after a molt.

Yeah TT's are hardy as nuts, so go to town with the params, the only thing is I wouldn't push the gH past 7 though. I would keep them on the softer side of things.
