What shrimp wont crossbreed with cherries?

As the title says. I want to add something new to my tank. I have cherries in a ph around 8, and generally harder water.

Cherries are neo. So look for shrimp that is not neo species, such as CRS (caridina species).

^ You have that backwards. Cherries are Neos, look for something that is a Caridina, but be mindful of a ph that high.

Hmm searching the web it's hard to find water parameters on shrimp.

Hmm it looks like Tigers are the closest I can get. I may have to look into changing my water a little. Thank you for the websites!

Tigers and pH 8 won't work. Time to play mad scientist.

that ph is pretty high... and if your cherries are being prolific in those specs.. I wonder if you can add cardinals.. or blue leg poso... they won't crossbreed, but high ph and hard water... might work well for sulawesi, although i've never tried to mix them.. hahaha ... but with your specs.. I would try...

My concern is the sulawesi are so expensive lol. I would love to get them breeding in my tank but I have only had cherries, so it's kind of a big jump if I were to do that.

+1 on Sulawesi shrimp. They love the higher pH. Homeless Aquatics sells a large variety of Sulawesi livestock and he's really into anything Sulawesi. I've dealt with Tim quite a few times already (in person) and he's a great person! Very reasonable and trustworthy guy. He ships for a reasonable price too! It doesn't cost an arm and a leg like most other sellers who try to make a quick buck off the shipping charges.

LOL I think that's at least the third time you posted that link mistahoo.

Malawa are cheap and won't crossbreed at all, and thrive in your set-up.

RAOK Club and BBRR Club! My thinking has been invert-ed!

Just trying to get the word out. He's been selling for a while to locals, but he finally "opened up shop" and made a site. I'm trying to help him out and help out you guys on some great deals! Lol
